For over 20 years, Dream Shapers has provided a wide quality and dependable programming and presenters to libraries throughout Southern California.  Our goal has been to always provide librarians with entertaining and fun children’s and family programs that they can choose and depend on.

We audition and vet all our performers prior to putting them on the roster.  We notify all artists of upcoming programs 1 week, 3 days and 1 day before your program to be sure they contact you to confirm the show.  We require all Dream Shapers performers to contact you a minimum of 3 days before your program to verify the details and answer questions you may have.

We offer hundreds of thematic shows as well as yearly summer reading presentations.  Our wide variety of programs, artists, and presenters in disciplines such as: storytelling, music, puppetry, magic, dance, animals, juggling, ventriloquism, balloons, trick roping and more.

We offer online video demonstrations of all our artists for you to see samples of their work.

We have a professional and efficient support staff that you can easily contact to inquire about presenters and programs, gain additional information, book programs, obtain pricing and availability information.

We send out email confirmations that allows you to access photos and program blurbs for promotional use as well as other handy information.

Dream Shapers offers a help desk to help you find the program you’re looking for if you’re unsure.  Let us know the details and we’ll be glad to assist.  We also have contact to over 300 performers that we can reach out to for “hard to find” programming.

Emergency Booking?  If you have a last minute cancellation or show request, Contact Us right away.  With our roster, we can always find someone for your program, sometime within a few hours!

 Insights to Successful Library Programs

  1. Be sure you receive an emailed confirmation/invoice from Dream Shapers.  Verify all the information is accurate.  Any discrepancies, notify the office to revise and resend.
  2. We ALWAYS send an email confirmation so if you do not receive one within a few days of your program, contact us immediately to make sure there are no mistakes.
  3. Promote your program!  Whether you are making a flyer, or updating your Web site, Dream Shapers can provide photos and text on both the presenter and their program to get the world out!
  4. Touch base.  The presenter should contact you several days prior to your program to confirm and follow up on any last minute details.  If you do not hear from a presenter within 24 hours prior to your performance, please contact the office and we can facilitate that connection.
  5. Provide any parking instructions that will assist in the presenter’s arrival and aid in their ease of loading and unloading equipment, if necessary.
